The Cornwall Residence is a modern family sanctuary, transformed from a modest 1960s brick home. A subtle 12sqm extension added a new bathroom and expanded living space, turning what was once a closed-off layout—where the kitchen faced away from the backyard—into a bright, open plan that seamlessly connects to the expansive outdoor area.

Designed to balance indoor and outdoor living, corner stacker doors and a seamless transition to the alfresco blur the line between inside and out. Natural light fills the open-plan living and kitchen areas, where a cozy window seat and thoughtful layouts make the space both functional and welcoming.

Outside, the backyard encourages exploration and play, with stepping stones, garden beds, and a large lawn providing endless opportunities for the kids to connect with nature.
